This is a lovely very high relief obverse 46mm bronze medal celebrating the joint rule of Albert VII & Isabella Clara Eugenia. A rich brown patina has developed over the red toned bronze metal. Trace verdigris can be seen on the reverse. The reverse text celebrates the reign of the Archdukes and a return of "long exiled" arts once again made the pride of Belgium under their rule.
